The following list provides IPA transcription and audio links to pronunciations of Russian names and other terms from the script.
These are a starting place for rehearsals, not a definitive rulebook. Real people say things in a variety of ways, and we can usually justify any number of choices as “correct” for our context. As always, stay curious and open to adjustments.
It’s not necessary to put on an accent other than your own for the play. You’re welcome to produce your best approximation, in your own accent, of these names and terms.
